Count glossary

These are the words NineRadar prints on the tape. They name structures. They are not buy, sell, add, or cut instructions.

Low-9: Nine consecutive closes below the close four bars earlier. Numbers plot under the candle. Not a buy order.
High-9: Nine consecutive closes above the close four bars earlier. Numbers plot above the candle. Not a sell order.
13: A later count after a finished 9. Completes less often. Bar 13 must pass bar 8’s close or it plots +.
Almost: The stretch has reached 8 and has not confirmed 9. If bar 9 fails, 1–8 vanish.
Perfect: Bar 8 or bar 9 is more extreme than bars 6 and 7. A qualifier on a finished 9, not a second trade signal.
TDST: A reference price from the setup. A break can weaken or cancel an unfinished 13. Some TDST detail is Pro.
Recycle: Another consecutive nine after a setup. It can cancel an unfinished 13.
Closed pair: A finished low-9 waits for the next high-9 (and the inverse). Unmatched 9s do not enter the historical rate.
Tape: The after-close list of who finished 9 or 13. Not a ranking of stocks to buy.

How to read this list

DeMark texts sometimes say “buy setup” and “sell setup.” NineRadar says low-9 and high-9 so the label stays a count. A one-way market can print several 9s and never turn.

FAQ

Is a low-9 a buy setup?

In some DeMark texts, yes, that is the name. NineRadar still treats it as a low-9 count. It does not issue a buy.

What does Perfect add?

It asks whether bar 8 or 9 is more extreme than bars 6 and 7. It does not turn a 9 into an order.

Why do unmatched 9s stay out of the rate?

The replay only scores closed pairs. An open 9 is still waiting, so it is not a win or a loss yet.
